Swami Shrutpragyaji arrived in Ashland, KY on evening of Thursday july 22 from Cincinnati for a weekend stay. There was a lecture on "Healthy Relationships" on Friday evening which was attended by a broad group of audience. It was very well received. Saturday morning session stared with Meditation and Pranayam. Swamiji discussed how everyone can achieve nirvichaar state of meditation by stepwise progression. The broad group of audience tried these steps under Swamiji's direction and felt re-energized about being able to see demonstrable progress. Lecture on "Peace and Happiness" followed. It was spell binding. A great number of questions followed which reflected deep interest from the audience. Swamiji lead a few private sessions later in the day also. Sunday AM, on GuruPurnima, Yoga and meditation followed by a few new Pranayama were undertaken. Swamiji discussed a very appropriate topic of "why is it important to find the right Guru and how to do that". This was followed by a lecture on "Developing the Inner Core"---wonderfully delivered and splendidly received! Personal fllowships followed in the afternoon and evening.

It was decided that a weekend camp would be organized in later half of April, 2011--possibly with involvement of an English speaking facilitator too. All in all, it was a wonderfulp from Swamiji with good fellowship, great lectures and a lot of audience enthusiam. From Dr.Kirti Jain

Comments from attendees of Swamiji’s camps:
Shrutpragyaji Swamiji is one of the most articulate and charismatic young spiritual leaders of the new generation.Swamiji is very effective in communicating philosophical and dry subjects as Yoga and Pranayam in an interesting, penetrating and enjoyable style. I came away from his shibir with a greater sense of peace and balance, as well as happier and more relaxed. His skills in keeping the group engaged at all times are really special and they sets him apart from many of the similar seminars. This Shibir impressed us due to its unique, spiritual and holistic approach to peaceful and joyous living with a fit & healthy self. Last night for about thirty local Indians and Non-Indians, Swamiji presented a lecture that was easy to understand and very practical. His lectures are not all Jain or religious oriented, actually he hardly brought the Jain religion into his lecture and mostly focused on science and yoga and pranayam (breathing exercises). And he doesn't want to convert you into believing Jain philosophy, but to adopt a philosophy that will only add to your life and not take away from it. And to top it off, he's funny! He held my attention for 2 hours without looking at my watch even once. I can't remember the last time that happened. I know that you all lead very hectic and busy lives, but if you have the weekend to spare and want to just get away and learn something that will enrich your life, I highly recommend going to one of his camps he is holding at Siddhachalam.
